Today is the Day – VOTE!

Today is the day. I will be waking up at 6AM to go vote. I will decide who to vote for after watching SNL tonight. (that’s just a joke). I only say that because my wife and I are about to watch it. But seriously, as Americans we have the freedom to vote without fear. Regardless of who you decide is the right person, go out and vote. I know I will.

Trying not to get cancelled

This is for my wife and Priscilla, before they both kick me off of their blogroll. The truth is, I really haven’t felt like blogging at all. I don’t know why, but if I don’t get into it soon I am just going to cancel my blog instead of wasting your precious time.

We did it, 1 year!

Saturday was awesome. Stressful at first, but by the end of the day it turned out great. Thanks to all our friends and family who helped make that day possible. Some of those I would like to thank are Van and his family who cooked all the food, which was so good. Melissa, Priscilla, Naty and Marelys, who helped set up the place with Jessica. Maria and Mabel Bello who let us use their homes. Bryan for taking pictures and Alex for letting us use his projector. I’m probably missing someone, and if that’s you, I’m sorry. Thank you to all.

It was great to see many people we don’t often get to see. But most importantly, it was great to celebrate Emery’s first year of life. She has been such a blessing. God has taught us so many things since she was born and we are looking forward to seeing her grow and becoming an awesome little girl.

1 Year

Wow, it’s just about been a year since Emery was born into this world. This time last year we were pretty much taking weekly visits to the hospital because of Jessica’s contractions. On Saturday we will celebrate our daughters first birthday on the actual day she was born, her due date, September 27th. It’s pretty crazy to think that just the other day she was born and now she’s trying to walk. Although I love this age and will never forget the way she looks, or the way it feels to hold her, I cannot wait to see her grow and mature. Here are some pics of us. Jessica will be posting some pictures of her throughout the last 12 months so be on the look out for that.
